For more than 80 years there has been a pharmacy presence in the centre of Ballymahon town with the McKnight family providing the service for much of that time. In 2000, local man Ciarán O’Hanlon opened Ballymahon Pharmacy and followed that in 2005 with the opening of O’Hanlon Pharmacy located near the bridge in the town. The well-known O’Hanlon family has had various business connections with the town of Ballymahon over the years. In 2016, Ciarán partnered invested in a pharmacy refit and had the totalhealth Pharmacy branding applied. The new look pharmacy is a bright, welcoming and modern space, one that the customers in Ballymahon are really enjoying.
