The Top100 stores are part of the Retail Excellence Awards, which were established in 1997 to promote best practice and encourage high standards in the Irish retail industry and are now the largest and most prestigious of its kind in Ireland.

Galway totalhealth Pharmacies, Flanagan’s, Pat Hogan’s and Feely’s in Tuam were delighted recently to donate three fabulous First Aid Kits to Eleanor Burke, a fourth year medical student from NUIG and her colleagues who are heading off to work in Mpongwe Mission Hospital in Zambia this summer. The volunteer mission is part of the work they organise as part of the Voluntary Services Abroad Society in NUIG.
UL Student wins €1,000 at Ann Gray’s totalhealth Pharmacy Aoife Keating a third year student at the University of Limerick was the overall winner of the student competition at Ann Gray’s totalhealth Pharmacy in Castletroy. Since September every student who shopped in the pharmacy and scanned their VIP loyalty card at the point of purchase were automatically entered into a draw. The monthly prizes were €50 vouchers for the UL Sports Arena and the overall prize was a €1,000 voucher. Aoife Keating was delighted to be selected as the overall winner.

recently donated a defibrillator to the Salthill / Knocknacarra
Cardiac First Responders group in Galway knowing that the
defibrillator will save lives. This was a wonderful gesture from

Jonathan McGuire, Pharmacist at Mark Wright totalhealth 
Pharmacy, Tyrrellspass, Co. Westmeath, recently participated
in a charity fundraiser at the Punchestown Irish National Hunt
Festival in aid of Punchestown Kidney Research Fund and the
Irish Kidney Association.
Over the past 27 years the PKRF has raised €1.4 million in funds.
This money has been used to improve the quality of life of patients
on dialysis, support medical research projects that help people with
the disease and increase organ donor awareness.

Some very active members of An Garda Síochána took part in a
recent charity cycle in aid of Capuchin Day Centre for the Homeless in Dublin.
The Garda Cycle team were part of a cycle that started in Dublin and ended in Belmullet. Reilly’s totalhealth Pharmacy in Belmullet were more than happy to support them and their worthy cause.

For the month of October totalhealth Pharmacies were involved in the Paint it Pink campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. An amazing €30,000 was rasied for the Irish Cancer Society.
The brilliant ideas people ran with to raise funds were fantastic, from bake sales to nail painting.
It was a very impressive achievement from all totalhealth pharmacies who went out of their way to raise as much as possible for this worthy charity.

Brogans, Boyle Co. Roscommon is the latest totalhealth member to launch our new look pharmacy. The store has undertaken a refit to incorporate all the elements of the new totalhealth brand.
Pat is delighted to be bringing a new concept in pharmacy to the people of Boyle.

June 12th saw the third totalhealth pharmacy launch. The local Pharmacy has undergone a significant upgrade and will now be branded "McGuinness totalhealth Pharmacy”. A third generation family business established in Roscommon Town in 1891, and with a current staff count of 10 people, the store has undergone a refit to incorporate all the elements of the new totalhealth brand and store design.

Joanne Hynes Pharmacy, Ballinrobe Co. Mayo has undergone a significant upgrade and will now be branded ‘Joanne Hynes totalhealth Pharmacy’.
The announcement forms part of the rollout of Ireland’s latest retail pharmacy brand under the totalhealth symbol, which was formally launched late last year.

O'Donnell's Pharmacy Westport recently rebranded as the first first totalhealth store in Ireland. Independent retail pharmacist, Sheila O’Donnell, based on Bridge Street, Westport, has rebranded to ‘O’Donnell’s totalhealth Pharmacy’. Following the launch, it is expected that totalhealth branded stores will open in Roscommon, Castlebar, Tuam, Stillorgan, Dublin, Cork and Limerick in the first quarter of 2014.
